Show Review: The 6th Annual Roots Picnic (Part 2)

The sun was still shining bright in Philly a little after 5pm. The crowd had swelled to capacity and everyone was ready to see the indie artist that now boast two multi-platinum records. Macklemore and Ryan Lewis were up next and everyone wanted to see them. You don’t have the success they have had and have sellout shows around the world with a bad stage show.

Show Review: 6th Annual Roots Picnic (Part 1)

Festivals are test of how much you like live music. You stand for hours, rain or shine, hoping to discover new artist and to see your favorites perform well. At The 6th Annual Roots Picnic held at Penns Landing in Philadelphia I was able to achieve both. The festival included not just music but photo booths, clothing and jewelry vendors, food and drinks, great people and more.

Show Review: Juicy J and A$AP Ferg’s Stay Trippy Tour

Some concerts are good because of the music, others the atmosphere and others because of some random WOW moment(s) that happens when you see something you’ve never seen before. The sold out Stay Trippy Tour featuring Juicy J and A$AP Ferg had all those things and made for one of the best shows I’ve ever been to.

Show Review: Rihanna and A$AP Rocky At The Verizon Center

On Monday I went to the Verizon Center to see the Diamonds World Tour headlined by Rihanna and featuring A$AP Rocky. 3 shows had already been cancelled or rescheduled, including the Baltimore show, but luckily Rihanna was feeling well and the show went on as planned. Rihanna is one of the biggest artist in the world and this was my first arena show for the site so I was excited.
